My role at EFA is to do whatever I can to help my students achieve their goals and aspirations in the tech industry. From running study sessions to teaching topics, I try to make the learning experience as energetic and fun as possible to keep students engaged.
The best part of my job is helping students understand the more complex aspects of the IT world. Nothing is more gratifying than watching someone overcome something they couldn’t originally understand, and see their confidence grow.
The best thing about the tech industry is that it never slows down. There is always something new to learn or some new piece of software or hardware to tinker with.
Being raised in the heat of Florida, I find it ironic that my life long hobby and passion would become ice hockey. When I was 6 years old I played in the Mite league with the Ellenton Eels. My team skated during a period brake at a Tampa Bay Lighting home game where they played against my favorite NHL team, the Detroit Red Wings.
