MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) has acquired the key assets of the Eleven Fifty Academy in a deal that will allow the program to continue providing Hoosiers a quick, proven way to ramp up their technical skills for future careers in the tech sector.
With community and employer partners, Eleven Fifty is building a tech workforce pipeline at scale. Its graduates have filled more than 800 tech jobs since the start of the pandemic, earn average starting salaries of $54,000 and 97% of them remain in the Indiana tech ecosystem.

The nonprofit Eleven Fifty Academy announces a milestone: the Academy has graduated its 1150th student from its immersive bootcamps since inception over seven years ago in the home of prolific inventor and entrepreneur, Scott Jones. These graduates now represent over $50 million of annual Hoosier income, with average incomes that far surpass state averages.
